In business, it’s so easy to get caught up in the “always on” cycle—posting, creating, selling, growing. But at some point, you have to pause and be honest with yourself:
Are your choices serving you, or are you just running on autopilot?
For me, that moment came around 12 months ago. I realised that if I kept pushing without stopping, I’d only carry the same old habits, fears, and limiting beliefs with me. And if you don’t face those, they’ll keep steering your life—whether you like it or not.
So, I did something that felt scary at the time: I stepped back from my business.
Investing in Myself
Instead of pouring every ounce of my energy into work, I chose to pour it into me.
✨ My mindset
✨ My mental health
✨ My body
✨ My healing
It wasn’t a holiday or a break in the usual sense—it was a conscious choice to do the deep, uncomfortable work that I had been putting off.
Healing is never soft or easy. It’s messy. It’s emotional. It asks you to confront the very things you’d rather avoid. But I knew if I wanted real change, I had to stop repeating the past and finally do the work.
What Healing Really Looks Like
Healing isn’t about quick fixes or surface-level positivity. It’s about showing up for yourself, time and time again, even on the days you don’t feel like it.
It means dropping the weight of what’s been holding you back—old stories, old pain, old patterns—and giving yourself permission to choose differently.
And while the process can be uncomfortable, what’s on the other side is worth it: a stronger, braver, more aligned version of yourself.
Why This Matters in Business
You might be wondering what all of this has to do with business. The truth is—everything.
Your business can only grow to the level you’re willing to grow. If you’re stuck in fear, doubt, or autopilot mode, your business will reflect that. But when you take the time to work on yourself—your mindset, your health, your inner strength—you come back to your business with fresh energy, clarity, and confidence.
That’s exactly how I feel now: ready to step forward again, with everything I’ve learned and experienced guiding the way.
Final Thoughts
If you’ve been feeling stuck, drained, or like you’re just going through the motions, maybe this is your sign. Step back. Be honest with yourself. Ask: are my choices really serving me?
Because no one else can do the inner work for you. But when you decide to face it, to heal, and to rebuild—you’ll not only change your life, but the way you show up in your business too.
This is why I now help women who feel stuck, invisible, or overwhelmed to do the same inner and outer work—so they can thrive in life and business.
